Thermal Imaging is highly effective as a preventative maintenance tool. With the advances in technology thermal camera's have the ability to indicate potential problems in a facilities infrastructure and services.

A solid planned preventive maintenance plan can be enhanced with a predictive maintenance program that can make the difference between unplanned downtime and missing production deadlines. FLIR thermal imaging tools can be used to survey and troubleshoot mechanical equipment and electrical systems.

A building and it's integrated systems can be quickly evaluated for thermal losses on cooling and heating systems and provide the thermal imaging tools can provide a powerful, non-invasive way to monitor and troubleshoot building envelope problems, electrical/mechanical failures, and HVAC issues, whether it’s at home or an office complex, data center or manufacturing plant.

The ability to detect hot spots and problem areas gives you an advantage in allowing you to plan for a repair rather than react to a failure. It also allows for inspection to take place during full load conditions without interrupting production and assists in validating and assessing a repair and manage warranty / maintenance contracts.

We recommend a thermal review prior to your annual maintenance shutdown to allow for an analytic report on potential problem areas which allows for spares and or specialized equipment to be available during the maintenance. This will allow for a replacement motor or electrical switch gear replacement to be sourced and budgeted for prior to requirements.
